QUEENSTOWN BOWLING CLUB INC.
Club facilities in the Bowling Pavilion include a modern bar, lounge and barbeque area. A barbeque is available for Hire. The Kitchen has recently been modernised and is complete with commercial oven. Recent refurbishment includes carpet, chairs, and dividing doors.
Visitors are welcome to try their hand at bowls, with both bowls and flat-soled shoes available for hire at $10 per day. Just fill out the fee form in the Mat room and post in the slot above the mats. Most days there are members around only too happy to get you started.
It is the purpose of the Bowling Club to promote the game of Bowls.
The Bowling Club is suited to functions, such as end of year celebrations, which include the Playing of Lawn Bowls as part of the celebration. Typical groups are between 30 and 100 people.
Functions
• Special Function License – This is a Queenstown Lakes District Council
requirement if the bar is to be used for your function. QLDC require 21
working days to process an Application
• Queenstown Bowls Club require payment and completed function form
before QBC applies for the Special Function Licence
• No alcohol may be brought onto the complex – this is a condition of our
Licence and must be observed
• No food, drink or smoking on greens
•Cleaning fee will apply depending on numbers
• Facilities to be left clean and tidy
• $10 per person fee which includes use of the club Bowls.
• Visitors are required to sign the club register
• No children on greens – not suitable for children under 12
• Flat soled shoes to be worn, some available
Payment by Eftpos or cash on day of function
• Please note that members must have reasonable access to the club
facilities at all times.

Available days for public functions are limited. To check on availability send an email to info@bowlsqueenstown.co.nz with name of group, contact details, and proposed date & time of function.

Bar has recently been upgraded and new rectangular tables installed in Lounge area. These can be arranged singly or together as required.
